1)  Micans philodendron  (velvet leaf philodendron)

Philodendron Micans, also called Velvet Leaf Philodendron, does not have glossy, green leaves like the usual heart leaf philodendron. This lovely plant has velvet-textured, heart-shaped leaves that are greenish bronze with reddish- brown undersides. The leaves grow on long, graceful, vining stems. This is an easy to grow unique looking plant that looks lovely hanging or sitting.

Light: - prefers bright, indirect light, but no direct sun 

Water: - Avoid over watering

Fertilizer: - Water the plant with the fertilizer monthly in spring and summer and every six to eight weeks in fall and winter.

Temperature: - Ideal temperature between 20 to 30°C

 Humidity: - Does well in normal household humidity


 

2)  Syngonium Wendlandii / Arrowhead Plants

The arrowhead vine is a pretty trailing or climbing vine that tends to grow quickly under the right conditions. The arrowhead vine's leaf structure changes as it mature, going from a simple arrow shape to a deeply lobed or divided mature leaf. Its leaves can vary in hue depending on their age, ranging from dark green and white to lime green and bright pink.

Light: - bright light but no direct sun

Water: - Water your arrowhead vine regularly during the spring and summer months, and reduce your watering cadence come winter.

Fertilizer: - The arrowhead plant can be fertilized monthly with a balanced fertilizer.

Temperature: - Ideal temperature between 18 to 25 °C

 Humidity: - The plant daily or place its container on a tray filled with pebbles and water to increase humidity.

 


3) Chinese money plant

Light: - She loves a spot with lots of light. She’s not keen on harsh direct sunlight so place her slightly away from windows.

Water: - Keep soil very lightly moist and take care not to let it sit in water or become too soggy. You can also let the soil dry out a little between watering, especially during the cooler months.

Fertilizer: - Feed once a month in spring and summer. You should also feed the plant when the mother plant is producing baby plants.

Temperature: - Ideal temperature between 12 to 26°C

Humidity: - Average room humidity is fine, however, if you find the edges of your leaves are crisp or ‘burning’ you should raise the humidity levels.

 


 

4) Tangle heart or Hanging succulents

Tangled hearts plant is the most appealing hanging plant to grow in the balcony. They look like little hearts drooping from a pink vine. Tangled heart is green in color with visible purple lines across the leaves.

Light: - indirect sunlight or shady places

Water: - Water them three to four times a week.

Fertilizer:- The arrowhead plant can be fertilized monthly with a balanced fertilizer.

Temperature:-  Ideal temperature between 15 to 25°C

Humidity: - Prepared the soil with very well-drained soil. Many people use sand for their succulents.

 


 

5) Roslina (plektranthus) Plant

Light: - Houseplants are generally happy at normal room temperature, for most of the year

Water: - Water deeply and then allow the plant to dry before watering again. Reduce watering in the wintertime. Feed the plant regularly throughout the spring and summer months.

Fertilizer:-  As a houseplant, plectranthus does well with standard, commercial potting soil. Grown outdoors and semi-indoor, a light, well-drained soil is ideal.

Temperature Ideal temperature between 12 to 21°C

Humidity: - Average room humidity is fine, however, if you find the edges of your leaves are crisp or ‘burning’ you should raise the humidity levels.


 

6) String of Pearls

String of pearls is a beautiful, cascading succulent that will add that little quirk to any house. The plant grows fast and propagates easily and can grow both indoor and outdoor. 7) English Ivy

English Ivy is an evergreen climbing plant. With lobed leaves and lush, trailing vines, it is an elegant accent plant. English Ivy, commonly known as English ivy, is a vigorous, fast-growing, woody evergreen perennial that is primarily grown as a climbing vine or trailing ground cover. Although commonly grown as a hanging plant indoors, its aerial roots can easily be trained to climb a moss stick or trellis.

Light: - Keep the plant outdoor in bright light of about 4-5 hours.

Water: - Water the plant when the topsoil (1-2 inch) in pot feels dry to touch.

Fertilizer: - During the main growing season (April - August) feed the English Ivy with organic fertilizer once a month.

Temperature: - Ideal temperature between 10 to 20°C

Humidity: - Average


 

8) Burro's Tail

Burro’s tail is a heat and drought tolerant plant well suited for warm to temperate regions. The thick stems appear woven or plaited with leaves. The succulent is green to gray green or even blue green and may have a slight chalky look. Try a burro’s tail houseplant or use it on the patio or full sun garden bed.

 Light: - indirect, bright light.

Water: - this plant is a succulent storing water in its leaves, during summer months only water when the soil feels dry to the touch. It will need less frequent watering during the winter months.

Fertilizer: - During the main growing season (April - August) feed the English Ivy with organic fertilizer once a month.

Temperature: - Ideal temperature between 10 to 22°C

Humidity: - This plant does well in average household humidity. Do not mist the plant or make any other attempts to increase humidity as it will not tolerate high humidity. Don’t grow burro’s tail in bathrooms or kitchens where humidity is naturally higher.

 


 

9) Wandering Jews

Wandering jew plants have green, heart-shaped leaves with purple stripes and a silvery sheen to them. Depending on the variety, the leaves can be solid or variegated.

Light: - Bright, indirect sun

Water: - These plants prefer to be kept consistently moist and will thrive if watered weekly in the summer and less frequently in the fall and winter.

Fertilize:- use a water-soluble fertilizer diluted to half-strength bimonthly

Temperature: - Ideal temperature between 10 to 26°C

Humidity: - plants love above-average moisture. Start by keeping them in a typically-humid area of the home, like a bathroom or kitchen.

 


10) Boston Fern

Light: - full sun and half shade

Water: - water the plant plentifully as often as necessary to keep the potting mixture thoroughly moist.

Fertilizer:-  Implement a half-strength, balanced liquid fertilizer on a monthly basis during growth.

Temperature: - Ideal temperature between 10 to 20°C
